Come See Me Dance this Friday!
April 28, 2016

Aloha!
I’m very excited to let you know that I’m performing this Friday, April 29th which is also International Dance Day! International Dance Day was established in 1982 and is celebrated by millions of people around the world. Here on Oahu, MEDAH (Middle Eastern Dance Artists of Hawaii) is presenting a performance celebrating our island dance community with dance and music from around the globe, and RammDance is a part of that celebration!
I will be performing three short solos choreographed by Isadora Duncan in the early 1900s, all set to piano music by Chopin. The three dances are:
Narcissus: the Greek myth of Narcissus and Echo, the story of Narcissus who falls in love with his own image in the water.
Butterfly Etude: The world of the Ephemeral
Harp Etude: Love as Divine Wisdom
